Cover Your Tracks...

The first rule of it all... Anonymity...

How could I have been so stupid to have not made sure...

I just asked Mr Traveler to send me an eGift card and to my surprise, he did...

Quickly after, he sent me a link to my other blog... My personal blog...

You cannot imagine the horror I felt... He added, "You're so cute..." Omfg... I deleted it so fast... I figure, if I want to do this sugar thing for real, the other blog shouldn't compromise this...

I've done a Google search for myself, and found so many things. God damn this internet saving everything you've ever done... I've just deleted like 6 accounts, a blog, and privated about 12-13 photo albums...

ugh...

***kudos to me, though, for having the guts to straight forward ask him for the card... Can't wait to use it...

  2. I agree with it being the least he can do... We've been talking back and forth for 3 months now... So I', going to get used to asking for more from him...

And we have met... I wrote about it a few posts ago... Thank god this blog is under a pseudo name... But it was strange... I'm really stressing this keeping the two worlds separate thing... It gets hard... but I'm going to have to take more precaution...

  3. So you ladies don't tell S.D. your real names? How do you recieve your allowance?
How about this....I found some website that starts with "Sp" something like that (when I find it I will post it) so I punched in my own name and my mother's address came up the whole address with my mother's info. so scary. So, I've been doing the samething. Slowly..I cn't even remember all the sites I signed up for years ago. Not even dating....but just regular sites...I dont no trace of me in cyber world world.
So, that is great advace to give to women. Because I had a Pot. 1 time on his email was his last name. He mentioned to me in random conversation that his wife was a nurse...I found her in 2 sec. while still on the phone with him, where they lived, and how much they paid for their home. Of course I was looking for my safety and didnt do anything with the info. but could you imagine what people could find on us and use it to harm us. It's a scary thought.

Thanks for sharing and please answer my question about
do you give out your real names?

  5. googling yourself and your pots are so important. I usually find so much info on them before I meet them. I have used a fake name but recently I use my real full name...when they google my cell phone number, my work info comes up all over internet because of my business anyways..
good job asking for the gift card!

  6. I dont tell anyone my real name until I know them very well. I make it clear that the name they have is not my real name and for me reason being the way you spell my real name is unique. When you google me Everything pops up!

I give one name to pots, another to random guys I meet, obviously another to clients. You have to be careful with this because sometimes these guys can turn into stalkers. It has happened to me and its not fun. Luckily he didnt know my real name.

Another issue I used to have was I was communicating using my email that is attached to my sugar blog! Needless to say that is a huge nono.
